We are hosting a private Insider Live with a bank CFO on Thursday, October 15, at 11:00 AM ET.

This is not a webinar. It’s a one-hour conversation with the CFO who brought AI into the board pack at a 300-year-old bank.

Live. Ask questions. Challenge what works and what doesn’t.

What AI changes in finance and how you can build the board deck (LIVE)

Every CFO has the same problem with AI.

The demos work on clean data.

Your company runs on 500 systems.

Nitin Madan built AI into board reporting at Barclays anyway: agents, connections into company systems, and a memory that reads previous board decks before it writes the next one.

That’s the hard version. And it’s the one most CFOs actually face.

Nitin has run finance at scale, not just advised on it.

Nitin Madan was MD and CFO of Barclays GCC India, an entity of about 30,000 colleagues with $1.3bn in revenue. At the same time, he was Head of Finance Delivery, Global Head of Data Ops, Global Head of Management Reporting, and India Head of FP&A and Finance Transformation.

(Nitin just signed off from Barclays in India last month.)

Under him, the India finance team grew to 60% of Barclays' global finance team.

Before that, he was a partner at KPMG India, where he built the finance transformation practice from zero into one of the firm’s most profitable.

He also worked at EY and Accenture Strategy and set up the Vodafone and Clariant captive centers in India.

What makes this session different

Most AI-in-finance content stops at the demo.

Nitin’s starting point is the reality underneath: hundreds of systems, regulators, an audit trail, and a board that remembers what you told them last quarter.

His view is simple:

“The best leaders don’t just read reports. They read what the report is not saying.”

So the question isn’t whether AI can write a board pack. It’s whether it can remember, connect, and explain like your best finance team.

The ROI question every CFO is asking

  • Why finance rarely tops the ROI list for AI spending

  • Why finance still can’t afford to be the laggard function
